Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Nothing — except match data you enter. SCORE:CAST records information you explicitly create while using the app:

• Player names and team names you type in
• Scores, games, points, and serve order for matches
• Match configuration (best-of-N, handicap, singles/doubles, etc.)
• Match history and point-by-point logs

This information is stored locally on your device using the device's own database (IndexedDB / local storage). It is not uploaded anywhere by default.

2. What we do NOT collect

• No personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, account)
• No analytics, telemetry, or usage statistics
• No advertising identifiers
• No location data
• No device fingerprinting
• No crash reports sent to third parties
• No cookies or tracking pixels on this website

There are no accounts to create. There is no login. There is no cloud sync.

3. Bluetooth

SCORE:CAST uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to link the Host phone and the Remote display on the same table. Data exchanged over BLE contains only the current scoreboard state — nothing else. The link is peer-to-peer between your two devices. Nothing is sent to our servers or to any third party.

4. Match sharing (optional)

If you choose to share a match view via a link, the minimum match state required to render the shared scoreboard is encoded into the URL or uploaded for that purpose only. Sharing is always an explicit action — nothing is shared unless you ask for it.

5. Third parties

The SCORE:CAST app itself makes no network calls to analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any similar service inside the app.

If you download the app from the Google Play Store, Google may collect install and crash metadata according to Google's own policies — this is outside our control and governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Children

SCORE:CAST is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal data, the app is compatible with children's privacy regulations (COPPA, GDPR-K) by design.

7. Your control

You are in complete control of your match data:

• Delete individual matches from within the app
• Uninstall the app to remove all stored data
• Clear app storage in your device settings at any time

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and highlight material changes on the home page. Our intent is to keep SCORE:CAST zero-collection — any future change will honour that principle.
